Mechanical Site Manager

TalenTailors is looking for a Construction Site Manager Mechanicalfor our client D&T Group an international engineering and contracting company expanding its operations across Europeto oversee the mechanical execution phase (HVAC and Sanitary trades) of a 19000 m² mixed-use development (hotel residential office and commercial) in Brussels. This role bridges the gap between design intent and site-level installation.

Location: Brussels Belgium (Onsite)

Duration: Approx. 20 months (projectbased)

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical execution phase from design review to installation-ready documentation (Dossier EXE).
• Coordinate engineering workflows between our central design office and active site operations.
• Supervise on-site technical staff draftsmen and subcontractors to ensure safety schedule compliance and execution quality.
• Ensure full alignment with applicable European/Belgian building codes local standards and project specifications.
• Oversee cross-disciplinary coordination with Electrical Structural and Architectural teams to resolve interface clashes.
• Lead on-site testing commissioning (FAT/SAT) and final system handover activities.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (. . or equivalent).
• Strong background in mechanical building systems execution including HVAC and sanitary systems across large-scale commercial MEP or renovation projects.
• Practical working knowledge of local building regulations and technical execution standards.
• Experience coordinating technical staff managing subcontractor workflows and tracking site progress.
• Professional proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with Belgian site safety and compliance frameworks (VCA-VOL etc.).
