Overview

RESA is looking for a Lead Cloud Governance Architect to strengthen IT governance and supplier management across its infrastructure and cloud environments.

In this strategic role you will define and structure governance frameworks cloud operating models architectural standards and supplier governance processes. You will act as a cross-functional expert working closely with IT security business and vendor teams to ensure consistent scalable and secure cloud governance practices.

This position focuses on governance architecture and strategic coordination rather than operational implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement IT and cloud governance frameworks
  • Formalize governance principles standards and usage policies
  • Establish decision-making arbitration and management models
  • Structure roles and responsibilities across IT business security and suppliers
  • Define target operating models for cloud environments
  • Design governance for cloud platforms landing zones and cloud services
  • Develop cloud transformation roadmaps and strategic trajectories
  • Structure vendor and supplier governance processes
  • Participate in tenders governance initiatives and architecture discussions
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of external service providers
  • Produce governance documentation RACI matrices and operational standards
  • Support architecture boards and governance committees
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure architecture
  • Strong expertise in IT governance and cloud governance frameworks
  • Proven experience in AWS or Azure public cloud environments
  • Experience within a DSO (Distribution System Operator) environment
  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Firewall technologies
    • Routing & Switching
    • WiFi
    • DHCP & DNS
    • Network security
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical and operational documentation
  • Microsoft MCSE and MCSD certifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • French language proficiency at C2 level (mandatory)
Nice to Have
  • CCNP or CCIE certification
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing IT infrastructure systems
  • Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of cloud security governance and compliance practices
Additional Details
  • Full-time assignment (220 days)
  • Hybrid setup with minimum 3 days on-site in Liège
  • Initial contract until June 2027 with possible extension
