Java Developer Search

We are hiring an experienced Backend Search Developer to advance the core of our e-commerce platform. You will join a dedicated search team responsible for creating robust high-performance search services. Your work will focus on building scalable solutions that ensure users can quickly and accurately find the products and information they are looking for.

Yourroleandresponsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend search services using Java Spring Boot and a microservices architecture.

• Work extensively with search technologies like Elasticsearch and Solr to index product catalogs and deliver highly relevant search results.

• Develop robust high-performance APIs for our front-end applications.

• Building new solutions from concept to deployment directly impacting the user experience.

Howtosucceed/YourprofileExperience

• Working on search related projects.

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Strong programming skills in Java

• Experience with the Spring Boot framework.

• Hands-on experience with search platforms such as Elasticsearch or Solr.

• A solid understanding of how to build and maintain microservices.

• A genuine passion for solving complex problems and building great software.

Nice to Have

• Experience or a strong interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Knowledge of building AI-enhanced search features like semantic search or recommendations.

• Familiarity with search result reranking techniques or Learning to Rank (LTR).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience with containerization tools like Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins.
