Internship in the field of Lean Manufacturing

Depending on your study program the internship may contain the following main points:

• Support the design of new production machines and processes.
• Participation in Bosch Production System projects: continuous improvement work on existing production and/or logistic processes the fields of Safety Quality Cost & Delivery.
• Standardization and improvement of production and/or logistics processes.
• Definition & implementation of lean standards: value stream planning standardized work pull production leveling quick changeover
• I4.0 and digitalization.

Preferred start date: mid-November

Qualifications :

You must be enrolled as a student.

• Language: good knowledge of English is required. German and possibly Dutch is a plus.
• Fields of study: mechanical engineering electrical engineering production engineering technical business economics.
• Completed basic study period.
• Good knowledge of MS-Office.
• You are able to communicate efficient & effective you can work on your own and as a team player.
• Responsible independent and reliable worker.
• Intercultural interest and understanding.

• An internship will be successful if you are inquisitive active and ask for work.

  The main condition is that you are a European citizen and if not you can only do an internship through a European exchange program.

Additional Information :

The internship requires that you have the nationality of a EU-country or that you are taking part in the Erasmus program.

The personal experience of the interns is usually the following: The company employs 10-15 interns all year round from various countries. Therefore this is also a great opportunity to enhance your social and language skills. The interns live mostly in Tienen or in Leuven known as a multicultural university city. You receive 800 as expense reimbursement per month.
