Functional / Data Analyst Legacy & Data Migration
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Functional / Data Analyst to support the modernization of legacy and mainframe-based systems. The role focuses on analyzing existing applications data structures and business processes and translating them into modern data models functional processes and integration concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy/mainframe applications data structures data flows and business processes.
- Document business logic data definitions dependencies and functional requirements.
- Perform data mapping impact analysis and semantic modelling.
- Translate legacy requirements into modern functional processes data models and integration concepts.
- Contribute to the development of ontologies and semantic models.
- Analyze and exploit logging audit trails and data-query information.
- Support the migration of applications processes and data to modern platforms.
- Validate migrated processes and data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business users architects developers DBAs security specialists and project managers.
- Facilitate workshops with domain experts and document outcomes.
Requirements
- Expert experience in Business Analysis and Functional Analysis.
- Strong experience with data modelling semantic modelling data mapping and impact analysis.
- Experience analyzing legacy/mainframe environments.
- Experience with application process and data migration.
- Knowledge of ontologies and semantic models.
- Experience analyzing logging audit trails and operational data.
- Strong documentation analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to bridge business data architecture and technology.
- Dutch French and English proficiency.
