This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Belgium.

Role Title: French Language Expert

Job Summary: In this role youll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn reason and perform through high-quality real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and correct French transcriptions ensuring accuracy and linguistic integrity for machine-generated outputs.
2. Add comprehensive metadata tags and detailed annotations to transcripts to support advanced data use cases.
3. Analyze audio content expertly identifying nuances dialects and errors overlooked by automated tools.
4. Collaborate with the customers team to uphold quality standards and meet project goals efficiently.
5. Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to provide clear feedback and contribute to process improvements.
6. Maintain meticulous attention to detail across all transcription and annotation activities.
7. Adhere to project timelines consistently delivering high-quality work within set deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Native-level fluency in French with strong comprehension of both spoken and written language.
2. Proven experience in transcription including correcting and refining machine-generated outputs.
3. Strong background in applying metadata tags and linguistic annotation.
4. Keen attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in French and professional-level English.
6. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining alignment with the customers team.
7. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Professional experience in audio transcription linguistic review localization or related language work is strongly encouraged.
2. Understanding of language technologies and machine learning data workflows.
3. Experience working in multicultural or remote distributed teams.
