Financial Analyst Electrophysiology Emerging Markets
Job Summary
Abbotts Electrophysiology (EP) division is dedicated to advancing the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias through innovative minimally invasive technologies.
We are looking for an Emerging Markets Financial Analyst to join our EMEA Electrophysiology this role you will act as a trusted business partner supporting commercial and leadership teams across Emerging Markets with data-driven insights and financial expertise.
You will play a key role in analyzing business performance supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial excellence across the region. Working in a highly matrixed international environment you will collaborate closely with commercial marketing and regional leadership teams to enable sustainable growth.
The position is based in the EMEA Headquarters in Zaventem Belgium.
What Youll Do
Act as a trusted financial business partner to commercial and regional leadership teams
Deliver financial analysis to support strategic decisions including sales performance margins costs and cash flow
Work with large and complex datasets to generate actionable business insights
Support forecasting planning and reporting processes ensuring accuracy transparency and consistency
Partner with General Managers Regional and Marketing teams to drive profitable growth and market expansion
Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial performance and drive value-creation initiatives
Take ownership of key financial processes such as bonus calculations rebates and accruals
Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to support decision-making
Collaborate across functions within a matrix organization to ensure alignment and impact
Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations
What Youll Bring
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Engineering IT or a related field
Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar analytical or financial role within an international environment
Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets and working with tools such as Excel and data systems (e.g. Hyperion Dodeca)
Understanding of financial planning and analysis and business partnering principles
Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a matrix organization
Fluent in English
