Job Summary
- monitors and analyzes the impacts of regulatory developments public initiatives at the various decision-making levels with sufficient anticipation
- develops coherent institutional positions
- implements lobbying actions at relevant levels
Part of the DAEI the Public Affairs Office in Brussels in charge of representing the Group towards the European Institutions contributes to these tasks with the specific mission to strengthen ALs visibility vis-à-vis the EU Commission Parliament Council and stakeholders that influence them. It particularly :
- contributes to defining the European Public Affairs Strategy ;
- manages relationships with EU institutions on topics requiring representation of the Group ;
- animates the network of European public affairs managers ;
- manages the external consultants used when necessary to implement/prepare influence ; actions as well as additional internal resources to carry out legislative monitoring ;
- organizes events to develop the Groups influence actions with the EU institutions ;
- develops institutional messages with the WBLs clusters DAEI & other support functions.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
The Public Affairs Manager will support the Head of Brussels office in his mission.
She/he will notably be in charge of the following non-exhaustive tasks:
1/ maintain monitoring & information tools on EU issues and manage them on a daily basis ;
2/draft internal analyses and other contribution to the EU decision making process ;
3/support the organisation of internal coordination and external meetings ;
4/prepare draft advocacy messages based on discussions with experts ;
5/propose advocacy actions and help build external networks ...

Educational background : Master in Public affairs Communication Legal
Languages: English German French
Specific knowledge and know how : Excellent knowledge of the EU decision-making process. 2y experience in the EU Brussels bubble. Abilities to summarize and at ease with IT/AI tools Familiar with Energy/Hydrogen/Semiconductor/ Health related EU public policies is an advantage
Behavioral skills : Organised. Interpersonal and networking skills. Strong analytical and writing skills. Very reactive and autonomous. High sense of ethics and collaboration.
