EPB Advisor – Energy & Building Compliance Job ID JP054168

We are seeking an experienced EPB Advisor to perform an independent assessment of two energy-related studies for a public administration building in Brussels. The role focuses on evaluating EPB obligations energy performance targets and required investments to improve long-term building sustainability and compliance.

• Conduct a desk study and independent review of existing technical and energy studies
• Analyse EPB obligations for public and tertiary sector buildings
• Assess compliance with Brussels energy regulations and frameworks (BWLKE PLAGE etc.)
• Evaluate short-term and long-term investment requirements for the building
• Identify required improvements to building envelope and renewable energy implementation
• Provide recommendations to reduce primary energy consumption toward 133 kWh/m²/year by 2040
• Analyse technical documentation EPB certificates as-built documentation and audit reports
• Deliver a structured and pragmatic assessment report with clear investment recommendations
• Make informed assumptions where data is incomplete and provide independent conclusions

• Strong expertise in Brussels EPB regulations and energy performance compliance
• Experience with BWLKE PLAGE and tertiary sector EPB/EPC obligations
• Ability to perform comparative EPB analyses and independent technical assessments
• Experience with energy efficiency strategies and building sustainability improvements
• Strong analytical reporting and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and provide pragmatic recommendations

• Recognition as an EPB Advisor or PLAGE Auditor
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

• Dutch: Native or bilingual proficiency
• English: Nice to have
