Your role:
You will join our EMEA Inland Logistics Procurement team and play a key role in shaping how we move materials efficiently and sustainably across the region. Reporting to the EMEA Inland Logistics Procurement Manager you will be based in Brussels Belgium.
In this role you will take ownership of procurement strategies for inland logistics across EMEA focusing on domestic bulk transportation. You will work closely with our Global Business Units and Supply Chain teams while building strong partnerships with logistics service providers.
Your work will directly influence cost efficiency operational performance and customer experiencegiving you real visibility and impact across the organization.
What you will do:
- You will lead sourcing negotiation and contracting activities with logistics service providers ensuring the best value for the business while maintaining high service standards;
- You will collaborate across functions - working with Procurement Excellence Supply Chain Finance Legal and project teams - to design and implement effective procurement strategies;
- You will support strategic projects including CAPEX initiatives by bringing your logistics expertise to the table.
- You will analyze logistics data and performance trends to ensure alignment with expectations and identify opportunities for improvement;
- You will manage supplier relationships end-to-end from performance and compliance to sustainability and risk management;
- You will proactively identify risks (financial operational HSE) and lead mitigation actions when needed;
- You will ensure suppliers meet environmental regulatory and technological standards across regions;
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders to define clear service expectations and continuously improve outcomes.

What you bring:
- You have a university degree in business supply chain logistics transportation or chemical engineering;
- You bring at least one year of experience in logistics procurement or logistics sales within an international environment ideally with exposure to the EMEA region;
- You communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
How you work:
- You enjoy negotiating and finding balanced value-driven solutions;
- You are comfortable managing sourcing processes (RFI/RFQ) and working with data to support decision making;
- Experience with tools like Keelvar SAP Power BI or AI-driven solutions is a big plus;
- You build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly both in meetings and in written communication;
- You think analytically challenge assumptions and use data to guide your actions;
- You are curious and adaptable - you are willing to learn re-learn and unlearn and grow continuously;
- You take initiative stay focused and are motivated to improve processes and drive change.
