Job Summary

Electro-Mechanical Technician / Process Operator

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the startup operation monitoring and maintenance of an industrial processing installation. The role combines process operation troubleshooting preventive maintenance and administrative reporting within a production environment operating in a shift system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the startup and commissioning of new industrial process installations.
  • Monitor and operate process equipment and automated production systems.
  • Perform routine inspections sampling measurements and process parameter adjustments.
  • Identify diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities on equipment and installations.
  • Monitor process trends and intervene when operational deviations occur.
  • Complete operational documentation reports and administrative follow-up tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety quality and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimize plant performance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Good knowledge of electromechanics and industrial electricity.
  • Experience operating and monitoring industrial production or process installations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational responsibilities.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and digital reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a shift-based environment is preferred.

Certifications

  • Valid BA4 or BA5 electrical safety certification is mandatory.
  • Compliance with industrial safety regulations and procedures is required.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time assignment in a two-shift system (early and late shifts with occasional day shifts if required).
  • Work is performed on-site in an industrial environment.
  • Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety helmet safety footwear work clothing and gas detection equipment.
  • Initial training program combining theoretical and practical learning.
