Electrical Quality Inspector

** This role is based in Belgium - Rotation plan available **

Fohntech Group are looking for an Electrical Quality Inspector to join our team.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight

• Implement and maintain the QMS in compliance with SOPs.
  
• Assist in the development of any project specific QA work procedures.
  
• Assist in the development of any project specific ITPs.
  
• Hold Quality Induction Workshops to promote awareness of the project specific requirements.
  
• Work closely with engineering operations and project management teams.
  

2. Inspection & Compliance

• Conduct and record surveillance / in progress inspections of all work carried out in on the project.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. IEC IEEE) customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  
• Conduct audits and inspections of electrical products and systems
  

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and verify quality documentation including inspection reports and certifications.
  
• Conduct and record final inspections on all work carried out on the project.
  

4. Continuous Improvement

• Develop and monitor KPIs to drive quality improvements.
  
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and failures.
  
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies to optimize processes.
  

Essential Criteria for the Role:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and standards.
  
• Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and KPI development.
  
• Experience with internal audits corrective/preventive actions and compliance documentation.
  
• Familiarity with calibration systems test plans and quality documentation.
  

Desirable Criteria:

• Attention to detail critical for identifying defects and ensuring compliance.
  
• Effective communication to liaise with production suppliers and regulatory bodies.
  
• Problem-solving proactive in identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  
• Adaptability & continuous improvement mindset driving innovation in QA processes.
