Director for Europe

Its goal is ambitious: to become the leading specialist in gas logistics and enable industry professionals to meet their customers demands wherever they may be.
The challenge for our client:
The development of our clients business centred on compressed and cryogenic gas containers takes place in a particularly demanding industrial environment which is technical regulatory and competitive. At European level the market is structured around major logistics and industrial hubs with Antwerp serving as a key hub. This positioning directly determines access to supply flows customers and strategic partnerships.
Our client is now entering a phase of accelerated European expansion with three priorities:
- structuring a growing business
- establishing a long-term presence in Antwerp
- aligning the groups vision with rigorous operational execution.

- local credibility
- the structuring of the organisation.
The role of Director for Europe is part of a process of building and scaling up the business.
A management role currently being established
- Taking charge of the European subsidiary
- Initially reporting to the founding director with a move towards group governance
- A central role in shaping the European structure.
- Site manager in Antwerp (1520 staff)
- Operations Manager in Aix-en-Provence (1520 staff)
- Liaison with global sales management and European teams.
- Structuring of European operations
- Management of logistics and industrial operations
- Business development in technical markets
- Establishing a strong presence within the Antwerp ecosystem.
Location: Antwerp (essential) with frequent travel to Aix-en-Provence
The ideal candidate:
Local roots and immediate credibility
- In-depth knowledge of the Antwerp/Benelux market
- Ability to operate within local industrial and logistics networks
- Native Flemish with working knowledge of English and French.
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- A passion for business development and creation
- Comfortable in dynamic environments
- Results- and opportunity-oriented.
- Experience in industrial/logistics environments
- Understanding of technical and regulatory constraints.
- Ability to manage operational teams and managers
- Humble adaptable and unifying approach
- Interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
