Database Architect

You will support the modernization of our infrastructure by leading the migration of our critical databases to Oracle 26ai.
Specifically:

• Administer and optimize our databases in production and non-production environments.
• Work closely with application infrastructure and security teams and support them during critical incidents.
• Manage the evolution of configurations according to business needs
• Define and implement a secure access strategy (IAM principles roles permissions auditing)
• Contribute to the demonstration of NIS2 compliance within the data scope
• Contribute to the design of robust and tested backup and recovery strategies
• Regularly validate incident recovery plans and ensure recovery in the event of a disaster.
• Document the procedures and keep them up to date
• Communicate clearly about the risks and solutions

It goes without saying that their role is crucial for the proper functioning of all the institutions business applications including the monthly payment of approximatelypensions.

Technical and general skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDMS DataGuard and RMAN.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL PL/SQL and RDS.
• Knowledge of MS-SQL MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL Apache and Tomcat is a plus.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to independently address and resolve issues exploring alternatives and implementing solutions in collaboration with colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team contributing skills to achieve common goals.
• Customer-focused with a constant pursuit of efficiency and productivity.
• Experience managing limited-scope technical projects.
• The ability to lead a team is a plus.
