Are you passionate about advanced control systems model-based development and complex engineering challenges
As a Controls Engineer at Verhaert you will support one of our innovative customers in the development of next-generation electromechanical systems. You will play a key role in the design development and validation of control strategies for highly sophisticated products.
Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams you will contribute throughout the full development lifecycle from requirements definition and simulation to testing and validation.
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop control algorithms and software functions for advanced systems.
- Translate system requirements into robust control strategies.
- Develop and validate solutions using Model-Based Design methodologies.
- Perform simulations and verification activities to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with system software testing and validation engineers.
- Contribute to innovative projects involving cutting-edge technologies and products.
- Support troubleshooting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
- Masters degree in Controls Engineering Mechatronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with MATLAB Simulink and Model-Based Development.
- Knowledge of control systems design and validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Experience in automotive aerospace industrial equipment robotics or high-tech product development is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
