Job Summary

Shape and lead the global communications narrative for Wolf Oil Corporation and its flagship brands Wolf and Champion across 50 markets. Build brand equity and commercial impact by orchestrating integrated communications PR media content social and product storytelling that connect lab-to-workshop innovation with distributor and end-user audiences. Lead the communications team and act as the organizations communications counsel to regional markets and stakeholders.  

 

Your key responsibilities

Communication strategy: 

  • Develop and implement communication strategies for Wolf Oil Corporation Wolf and Champion brands at global and local levels. 

  • Create communication frameworks defining target audiences channels frequency content and processes. 

  • Lead country-specific approaches to support Regional Marketing Managers. 

  • Drive key message development and copywriting ensuring brand consistency and commercial impact. 

  • Collaborate with Internal Communication/HR team to involve internal stakeholders in external activities. 

  • Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable communication activities. 

  • Integrate International Trading Groups (ITG) as a dedicated channel within the global communication plan tailoring messages and assets for ITG partners and their member networks. 

  • Keep pace with shifts in media consumption content formats and search behavior including the evolution from SEO to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) - and adapt the global communication approach accordingly. 

 

Content strategy & Production: 

  • Lead the creation and execution of the global content plan adapting it for local needs. 

  • Streamline translations and ensure efficient implementation of local plans. 

  • Plan and manage design copywriting and production of external communication assets. 

  • Inspire and train the organization to increase communication efforts. 

  • Translate technical product features OEM approvals and corporate milestones into compelling narratives adapted to distributor workshops and end-user audiences. 

  • Identify and activate storytelling opportunities within the brand partnerships (motorsport ITGs strategic alliances) and turn them into multi-channel campaigns. 

 

Media & PR Plan: 

  • Lead the development and execution of global and local PR plans in alignment with priorities. 

  • Define and optimize the media mix at global and regional levels balancing paid earned and owned channels to maximize reach and ROI. 

  • Understand the global and local media landscape relevant to the sector. 

  • Proactively develop and implement local media plans in collaboration with Regional Marketing Managers. 

  • Act as the first point of contact for media and PR inquiries. 

  • Train stakeholders to enhance communication and messaging skills. 

  • Cultivate effective relationships with Regional Marketing for field execution of strategies. 

  • Measure the impact of PR and media activities (share of voice earned media value reach engagement message pull-through) and report performance to leadership. 

 

Product communication: 

  • Translate new product introductions into comprehensive launch communication plans. 

  • Manage plan execution across all touchpoints. 

  • Tailor global plans and communication materials for local key markets in collaboration with Regional Marketing Managers. 

 

Social media: 

  • Develop global social media strategy in alignment with Brand & Partnerships Manager. 

  • Oversee execution of the strategy into bi-monthly content plans. 

  • Manage localization of the strategy in collaboration with Regional Marketing teams. 

  • Implement and publish all social media plans. 

 

Budget & Performance management: 

  • Manage the global communications budget with full accountability and advise Regional Marketing Managers on local media mix and spend allocation to ensure efficient coordinated investment across markets. 

  • Define and track the KPIs that matter for communications (reach engagement share of voice content performance lead contribution) and turn performance insights into continuous optimization. 

  • Own the communications tech stack and workflows (briefing production translation publication reporting) to ensure the team operates efficiently and at scale. 

 

 

Integral to this position is the oversight of a communication addition to ensuring alignment with strategic goals for a powerful brand presence you provide leadership and direction managing the team to effectively contribute to our communication objectives. 

 


Qualifications :

  • Higher degree in Marketing Communications or a related field or equivalent through experience.  

  • 810 years of experience in communications PR or integrated marketing including relevant experience in a people management role.  

  • Proven track record in a global or multi-market B2B environment preferably within the automotive aftermarket industrial or technical sectors.  

  • Experience working with external agencies and cross-functional international stakeholders.  

  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset; additional languages are a plus.

We produce lubricants for all sorts of applications from passenger cars to bikes and even construction machines at our HQ in Hemiksem Belgium. We blend these products in bulk as well as for our own two brands Wolf and Champion.
