We are looking for an intern for a 6-month period to start in September 2026 and join the Commercial Excellence team.

The internship will allow you to be fully immersed in meaningful work that impacts the future of our business. At Abbott we do work that matters! For this internship you will be part of our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division.

As a Commercial Excellence Intern you will support the execution of the Commercial Excellence initiatives for CRM in EMEA in the area of:

Support delivery and deployment of Business Analytics tools

  • Work with PowerBI PowerApps and PowerAutomate and understand how the platform works;

  • Support the development of new reports /apps for business; along with the Senior Business Analyst.

  • Assist the sales organization for any questions they could have about the tools usage or the reports generated; solve potential bugs that could occur

  • Contribute to the usage of the CRM EMEA tools (reports and apps) with clear priorities and identified levers (e.g. training focus group).

  • Propose solutions for the continuous improvement of the tools.

  • Improve the reports over time by overseeing requirements gathering.

  • Help managing user rights to EMEA Commercial Excellence reports and tools.

Business analytics

  • Help develop performance reports and analytics for business.

  • Deliver relevant data for product launches strategic marketing initiatives and business priorities.

  • Work on market analysis and prepare conclusions for the sales and marketing leaders.

Training

  • Deliver training for country business analytics teams and sales and marketing teams within the Commercial Excellence area about dataset usage PowerBI usage reports with different media (video tutorials call conference live sessions)

  • Support the adoption of tools and reports

  • Maintain documentation on data processes and rules

  • Provide support to the end-users

Profile of the intern (hard skills and soft skills)

To be considered for this role you need to have:

  • University degree preferably in Business Administration or Commercial Engineering

  • Minimum 0-2 years experience operating within a fast-paced selling environment in Commercial Excellence SFE finance sales support or business analytics roles

  • Preferably experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI) good knowledge of MS Excel required. Proficient in databases MS Office and financial software applications

  • Strong analytical skills and financial analysis acumen

  • Exemplary reporting and communication skills

  • Relevant geographical market experience

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams

  • Strong ability to communicate in a matrix environment

  • Language requirements: English mandatory (any additional language is an asset)
