Duties & Role:
- Support the planning coordination and monitoring of technical projects and activities ensuring that milestones deliverables and deadlines are appropriately tracked.
- Coordinate project-related activities across technical teams management and other stakeholders ensuring effective communication alignment and timely follow-up.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans schedules action trackers risk and issue registers status reports and meeting minutes.
- Monitor project progress and performance against agreed plans milestones and objectives identifying delays risks dependencies and potential issues.
- Prepare regular management and project status reports dashboards and presentations providing clear and accurate information on progress risks issues and required decisions.
- Organize and support project meetings workshops and governance activities including preparing agendas coordinating participants recording decisions and following up on agreed actions.
- Act as a central coordination point for project-related information and communication facilitating collaboration between technical teams project stakeholders management and external suppliers where applicable.
- Support resource workload and activity planning maintaining visibility of ongoing priorities assignments and project commitments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project coordination and governance processes identifying opportunities to improve planning reporting communication documentation and overall delivery effectiveness.
Specific Working Conditions: Some work outside normal office hours may be required.
Up to 50 TDY within Belgium per year.
Requirements
Skills Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- A Masters degree in Project Management Business Administration Information Technology Engineering or another relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Project Coordinator Project Support Officer PMO Officer Project Assistant or in a similar role supporting the coordination and delivery of projects.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously within a complex organizational environment.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining project plans schedules action trackers risk registers and project documentation.
- Professional certification in PRINCE2 PMP Agile Scrum or a similar project management framework would be considered an asset.
