Duties & Role:
- Provide support for project implementation and delivery of infrastructure security solutions
- Ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems services and applications post-implementation through continuous monitoring and addressing any emerging issues in a timely manner.
- Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings) and continuously maintain the security posture of the infrastructure elements
- Contribute to remediation of CIS security findings for infrastructure elements
- Plan deploy and configure a variety of hardware software and security products;
- Perform other duties as may be required
Requirements
Skill Knowledge & Experience:
- Knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security networking and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
- Knowledge of and proven experience with linux OS infrastructure as code and automation tools
- Knowledge of security technologies and solutions specific to hybrid-cloud Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and On-Premise DMZ capabilities
- Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defence.
- Practical hands-on experience with systems administration.
- Ability to investigate and analyse complex scenarios and solve problems in innovative ways
- Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal with the ability to clearly and successfully articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences and teams
