Your role in the blend
AsBusiness Controller Logisticsyoulldrive efficiency in Logistics by providing structured transparent and actionable financial and operational analysis. You will support and challenge the Logistics organization helping teams understand the link between financial results operational behavior and business decisions.
You will maintain cost-to-serve allocation drivers for COGS inthe areas ofwarehousing and outbound transport and play an important role in developing how logistics costs are allocated reported and understood across Business Areas.
The role has a regional focus on Belgium and Central Europe the UK and Spain and works closely with Logistics Transport Managers Business Controlling and other key stakeholders.
In this role you will
Provide accurate and timely monthly business analysis forecasting follow-up and reporting for Logistics covering warehousing outbound transport inventory and obsolescence.
Develop and maintain robust processes for logistics cost accruals charging and allocation to Business Areas ensuring transparency and cost-to-serve accuracy.
Deliver reliable Financial Plan monthly forecasts and Standard Cost input for logistics-related material costs.
Support and challenge Logistics on Capex savings initiatives inventory adjustments and obsolete stock driving performance improvement and financial accuracy.
Act as a trusted business partner to regional Logistics and Transport Managersandcontinuously improving logistics controlling processes reporting and ways of working.
Youreaanalytical independent and communicativepersonwith the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and practical recommendations. You are comfortable challenging the business in a constructive way and enjoy working in an international environment with multiple stakeholders.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Economics or a similar field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in business controlling finance logistics controlling or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
Good Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
Understanding of logistics warehousing inventory or cost-to-serve is considered a plus.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as AX and Infor M3 is an advantage.
Fluent English skills; other relevant language skills are a plus.
