About the Role
Are you completing your Masters degree in Law and looking to launch your legal career within a highly respected dispute resolution practice
We are seeking an ambitious and talented Associate to join our Dispute Resolution team in Antwerp starting in September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your expertise in corporate litigation and insolvency law while working alongside experienced legal professionals on complex and high-profile matters.
You will gain hands-on experience from day one working closely with partners and senior associates while building the technical strategic and client-facing skills necessary for a successful long-term legal career.
This role is ideal for individuals who are intellectually curious eager to learn and motivated by solving challenging legal issues within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and strategic support to companies entrepreneurs and national and international corporate groups on a wide range of corporate litigation and insolvency matters.
- Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution files from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research prepare legal analyses and draft pleadings opinions and procedural documents.
- Support partners and senior associates in complex litigation restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Participate in client meetings hearings negotiations and case strategy discussions.
- Develop strong relationships with clients while gaining exposure to a diverse range of industries and business sectors.
- Manage responsibilities independently while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced legal professionals.
- Stay informed on legal developments case law and regulatory changes impacting corporate litigation and insolvency law.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Law from a Belgian university.
- Strong academic record.
- Relevant internships extracurricular activities moot court participation or legal experience are considered an advantage.
- Strong interest in corporate litigation dispute resolution insolvency law and broader business law matters.
- Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- French language skills are considered an asset.
- Strong analytical research and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional resilient and adaptable with a high level of integrity.
- Collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently when required.
