Do you enjoy improving processes challenging the status quo and helping teams perform at their best As Asset Lifecycle Lead you will play a key role in ensuring the systems processes and tools that support maintenance and asset management are efficient compliant and continuously evolving. Working closely with Production Maintenance Engineering and other site functions you will lead a team of professionals responsible for driving process excellence across the asset lifecycle. Your focus will be on strengthening maintenance processes leveraging modern technologies embedding continuous improvement and ensuring critical manufacturing assets remain capable of supporting the production of high-quality medicines for patients around the world. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve asset lifecycle maintenance and calibration processes across the site.

  • Drive maintenance excellence through standardized compliant and cost-effective engineering practices.

  • Develop and monitor engineering maintenance and calibration performance indicators to support informed decision-making.

  • Lead a team of engineering professionals fostering capability building training and talent development.

  • Partner with Production Maintenance Engineering and Quality teams to strengthen asset management performance.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability availability and lifecycle value.

  • Own and govern engineering systems databases and digital tools supporting maintenance operations.

  • Ensure technical standards standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements are effectively implemented.

  • Manage supplier and contractor relationships to support maintenance and engineering objectives.

  • Support inspections audits and strategic initiatives that enable operational excellence and sustainable site performance.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Extensive engineering experience including significant leadership experience within maintenance manufacturing or technical operations environments.

  • Proven track record of driving process excellence continuous improvement and asset management initiatives in a regulated industry.

  • Project management contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills across cross-functional teams.

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical chemical or highly regulated manufacturing environments including Health Safety and Environment and Good Practice quality requirements.

  • Fluent English communication skills with the ability to influence collaborate and lead teams across multiple functions.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 61300 to 113900

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives such as relevant skills competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
