CI/CD & DevOps Deployment Specialist (Atlassian Migration)
Namur Belgium (Hybrid)
Full-time 12-month contract
Start: July 2026
About the Role
We are looking for a CI/CD & Deployment Specialist to support the evolution and modernization of a critical government IT development ecosystem within the agricultural and environmental sector.
The mission focuses on the design implementation and governance of a modern CI/CD pipeline while supporting the transition away from legacy Atlassian DataCenter tools (Bitbucket Bamboo) toward more sustainable solutions such as GitLab-based workflows.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Design & Implementation
- Design and implement a new CI/CD chain from scratch or within existing constraints
- Configure test and optimize deployment pipelines
- Ensure alignment with development and operations teams
Governance & Documentation
- Define CI/CD governance standards and best practices
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Ensure clarity and adoption across development teams
Tooling Migration (Atlassian Transition)
- Support the transition away from:
- Bitbucket
- Bamboo
- Contribute to migration towards GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines
- Anticipate end-of-life constraints for DataCenter products
DevOps Tooling & Quality
- Work with tools such as:
- GitLab CI/CD
- Nexus (artifact repository)
- Sonar (code quality analysis)
- Docker / Kubernetes (basic orchestration support)
- Ensure code quality and deployment reliability
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with software developers and DevOps engineers
- Provide user support and guidance on CI/CD usage
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
- Basic experience with:
- Bitbucket / Bamboo
- Nexus
- SonarQube or similar tools
- Understanding of DevOps practices and software delivery lifecycle
- Experience in migration projects (Atlassian GitLab preferred)
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker / Kubernetes / Tanzu) is a plus
