Training & Recruitment Officer- Bathurst
Job Summary
We currently have an opportunity for a Training and Recruitment Officer to join our Health and Education team and play a key role in building capability ensuring training compliance and supporting safe highquality service delivery across our hospital operations. Reporting to the Support Services Operations Manager youll help deliver highquality outcomes that support our essential services.
This role in supporting the Bathurst Operational team in the delivery of services to the client. Occasionally and where service demand dictates assistance may be required at the Orange-Bloomfield campus to support the trainer at this location.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
Leading and coordinating mandatory onboarding and competencybased training ensuring all employees remain compliant with NSW Health and Downer requirements
Developing and maintaining training plans schedules and competency signoff processes identifying gaps and partnering with leaders on solutions
Delivering engaging training sessions inductions and refreshers both oneonone and in group settings
Supporting endtoend recruitment activities from workforce planning through to onboarding in line with NSW Health processes
Maintaining accurate training recruitment and employee records supporting reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
What Youll Bring
Demonstrated experience in training coordination delivery or workforce capability development ideally in a regulated or operational environment
Strong understanding of mandatory training compliance onboarding and competency management
Confidence facilitating training sessions and engaging diverse stakeholder groups
Welldeveloped organisational communication and relationshipbuilding skills
A proactive collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement
