Whats the role
Financial Systems Management (FSM) is responsible for management of Westpacs internal financial applications. FSM is the Business Application Owner for several business accounting tax and financial reporting applications.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide ongoing support for the ACR reconciliation system. As an ACR System Manager you will design build maintain and support reconciliationscollaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver changes safely and efficiently in a fast-paced agile environment while building deep domain expertise and supporting the broader finance community.
This role ensures that the ACR system meet business needs comply with governance and financial control standards and support strategic initiatives such as Unite and other transformation programs. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to provide support to business and IT operations staff.
What do I need
- Familiarity with financial systems mainframe applications batch processing and related support tools (essential)
- Sound knowledge of financial controls transaction processing and reconciliations
- Exposure to WBC banking systems procedures and user interfaces (desirable)
- Working knowledge of the Oracle General Ledger (desirable)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse debug and troubleshoot code and job failures.
- Confidence to identify and report areas of risk particularly in relation to reconciliation and data integrity with excellent stakeholder communication skills
