About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with handson experience working with metal or steel products within a manufacturing environment.Youll be operating machinery following safety and quality procedures and contributing to efficient production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up operate and monitor slitter and folder machines to cut and fold sheet metal according to specifications
Adjust machine settings including blade alignment thickness folding angles and speeds to meet job requirements
Perform routine machine checks to maintain optimal performance and quality standards
Follow strict safety and quality procedures during all operations
Work collaboratively within the team and communicate effectively to support production goals
What Were Looking For
Prior experience as a Slitter Folder Operator or similar manufacturing role (desirable)
Experience working with steel and/or metal products (essential)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good time management and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Problemsolving mindset with willingness to suggest process improvements
Reliable transport and current Drivers Licence
Forklift Licence required
White Card required
