Lynas Rare Earths is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisorto join our Mt Weld Production team. This is a FIFO position from Perth to our Mt Weld Operations on an 8/6 roster (days and nights).
Reporting to the Production Superintendent you will lead a team of 12 Process Technicians while ensuring safe efficient and reliable plant operations. This role is responsible for driving production performance maintaining compliance with safety standards and supporting team development.
As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team you will:
Supervise and support Process Technicians to achieve safety and production targets
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and mining regulations
Complete inspections reports and operational documentation
Provide coaching training and development to team members
Promote a positive productive and inclusive team culture
Assist with operational improvements and change management initiatives
What you will bring to the team:
Significant mineral processing experience including flotation experience
Previous leadership experience within a processing plant environment
Strong communication organisational and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of PTW isolations/LOTO risk assessments and incident investigation
Schedule 26 - Statutory Supervisor accreditation
Current C Class WA Manual Drivers Licence
Frontline Leadership qualification (desirable)
Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (desirable)
Degree in Process Engineering or Metallurgy (desirable)
