About the role
The Senior Systems Officer will be an integral part of supporting transforming and growing operations in the Systems Data and Reporting team. This includes supporting the wider Health Safety and Staff Wellbeing Directorate in the management development and governance of their systems and data including this role you will contribute and support the Leader Systems Enhancements in driving continuous improvement performance and service availability.

About you
- Strong experience in project management and workshop facilitation including requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of software delivery practices DevOps branching strategies pipelines and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Familiar with Agile or Prince2 project management frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven ability to identify analyse and articulate risks issues and business impacts of proposed solutions.
- Experience with articulating business requirements in user stories and testing solutions in a UAT environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in documentation correspondence and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the DepartmentsAboriginal Education Policyand upholding theDepartments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECGand to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a related field.
- Experience delivering customer facing digital/information technology.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to thevalues of public education.
