Job Summary

The Senior Manager Learning Strategy & Programs AU Operations leads a team of 1012 hourly and salaried learning professionals across three verticals: Leader Onboarding & Technical Development Field Content Compliance & Automation and Launch Learning. This role is responsible for designing and delivering scalable digital-first learning experiences across all miles of AU Operations including Fulfilment Centers Sort Centers Delivery Stations and On-The-Road.

As the architect of capability development across the AU delivery network this leader ensures that both leaders and associates are equipped with the skills knowledge and tools to execute with excellence. The scope includes leader academy programs field learning automation content governance and end-to-end launch readiness for new buildings.

This is an 18-month fixed-term opportunity covering a period of parental leave. We are looking for experienced program managers proficient in business strategy for this role. It offers a high-impact leadership role at the center of the AU Operations learning agenda.

Key job responsibilities
Lead coach and develop a team of learning professionals through regular 1:1s team cadences and individual development planning.

Own end-to-end delivery of the AU Learning Programs 3-Year Strategy () across leader development field automation and building launches.

Drive the digital transformation of field learning operations championing an AI-first approach to automation content governance and real-time performance dashboards to shift from manual delivery to a scalable data-driven operating model.

Lead the Learning Academy Consolidation unifying leader development into a single product with consistent onboarding pathways.

Own launch planning and readiness across 1P and 3P sites ensuring 100% learning operational readiness for every new building.

Leverage AI and emerging technologies to accelerate scalability enhance learner experiences and drive operational efficiency across the network.

Partner with Directors Site Leads Function Heads and the Country Director to align learning priorities with business needs and represent the team in senior forums.

Manage 30 P0 success metrics surface risks early and act as the senior escalation point for complex learning challenges across AU.


A day in the life
Your days blend strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. You might start with a 1:1 coaching session then join a cross-functional forum on building launch readiness. Afternoons could see you refining the 3-Year Strategy roadmap exploring how AI can accelerate delivery or clearing blockers for your team. Youll balance stakeholder engagement metric reviews and team development always thinking digital-first and driving outcomes at pace.

This role requires 5 days per week on-site in Melbourne or Sydney.

- 7 years of program or project management experience
- 5 years of team management experience
- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- MBA
