Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices retail centres logistics facilities and land lease communities. Thislong-termpartnership reflects Downers strength in managing large complex portfolios and deliveringhigh qualityservices at scale.

Commencing in August 2026 we have an opportunity for aSecurity Guardsto join our workforce and play a key role insupporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stocklands national portfolio withmultiple positionsavailable to support various sites across the area.

Roster flexibility is required including availability to work a variety of rotating shifts including weekdays evenings and weekends.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

• Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security

• Control site access and manage visitors contractors and deliveries

• Respond to incidents alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner

• Provide general assistance and maintain a visible approachable presence

• Observe and report suspicious activity hazards and maintenance issues

• Maintain accurate records follow procedures and liaise with relevant services when required

What Youll Bring

• Certificate II (mandatory) or Certificate III in Security (desirable)

• Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory)

• Working with Childrens Check (mandatory)

• Experience monitoring CCTV alarms and access control systems

• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to incidents emergencies and concerns

• Strong communication conflict resolution and report-writing skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team with a good understanding of safety procedures
