About The Opportunity

At Programmed Electrical Technologies we deliver electrical and communications solutions across complex and high-security environments.

With a growing pipeline of Defence work we are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of projects across our Defence portfolio.

Based in Artarmon this is a hands-on team-focused role where you will work closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

This role is well suited to someone from an electrical or communications background who enjoys working across multiple projects supporting delivery and developing their capability within a structured project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to our Project Managers in the delivery of electrical and communications projects
• Coordinate project documentation reporting and compliance requirements in line with programmed standards and HSEQ requirements
• Develop and maintain project schedules using project management systems covering project design construction commissioning and general delivery of projects
• Support procurement activities including labour materials and subcontractor coordination
• Monitor project progress and assist with tracking budgets variations and reporting requirements
• Assist in preparing documentation for tenders estimates and project delivery
• Ensure site safety processes are followed including supporting toolbox meetings and safety documentation

• Work closely with site teams subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

About You

You are a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator with a strong technical foundation ideally within electrical or communications environments. You enjoy working closely with teams supporting delivery outcomes and building your capability within project environments.

You will bring:

• Experience in a Project Coordination or project support role ideally within electrical communications or construction environments
• A technical background or exposure to electrical or communications projects
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Confidence working with project documentation reporting and scheduling

• Good stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across site teams and internal stakeholders
• A proactive and team-focused approach to supporting project delivery

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory) and willingness to obtain Defence security clearance
