About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Mindplace youll play a pivotal role in supporting clients to improve their mental health daily functioning and overall wellbeing. This is a patient-facing clinical role where you will work with individuals experiencing challenges with mental health psychosocial disability or functional limitations.

In this role youll:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients functional abilities daily routines and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based personalised interventions to enhance independence coping strategies and life participation.
• Support clients in building skills for self-care work education and community engagement.
• Apply mental health-informed strategies including stress management sensory regulation and activity-based interventions.
• Collaborate closely with Psychologists Behaviour Support Practitioners Exercise Physiologists and other allied health professionals to provide holistic person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress to ensure clients achieve meaningful outcomes.

About You

• Were seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• 35 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy (mental health rehabilitation or community care highly regarded).
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful client and colleague relationships.
• Experience delivering evidence-based care and fostering innovation in service delivery.
