Job Summary

  • Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 with salary ranging from $ 149739 to $ 173174 super and annual leave loading

About the role

As the Manager Financial Planning & Reporting Support you will lead the delivery of proactive high-quality financial support services to schools and internal stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring schools are equipped to confidently use budgeting and reporting tools while also driving continuous improvement across systems processes and service delivery.

About you

You are a confident and forward-thinking leader with a passion for delivering impactful financial services. You bring a strong mix of technical expertise strategic thinking and people leadership.

You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering high-quality financial planning reporting or advisory services
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups
  • Analytical expertise with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and actions
  • Experience managing complex workflows and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive practical solutions
  • Strong understanding of financial controls reporting requirements and data integrity principles


Key knowledge and experience

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Business Administration Finance and Accounting or a relevant discipline or demonstrated successful experience in a stakeholder/customer engagement in a Shared Services/Contact Centre environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
