A SFIA 6 Business Architect is a high calibre and high performing candidate for a business architectural role. The role forms part of a multi-disciplinary team focussed on developing endtoend solution design to support the Department of Health Disability and Ageing. Architects are expected to set and translate vision into tangible actions lead and inspire a connected and engaged workforce influence stakeholders resolve complex issues and deliver outstanding digital and ICT enabled capabilities.
A SFIA 6 Business Architect is expected to build and maintain effective working relationships across senior executive business owners and IT delivery areas and proactively provide support to section staff for complex work items.
Key duties and responsibilities
A SFIA 6 employee would generally be required to undertake work that is very complex or sensitive and operate under broad direction. They exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role. Employees at this level exercise sound decision making and judgement to produce high level policy advice.

Have some knowledge of finance accounting and valuation within government.

The following reporting will be required throughout the duration of the engagement:
Weekly timesheet completion
Weekly status reports; and
Ad hoc reporting (as requested).
The seller must ensure that the Labour Hire worker performing the services during the term of this contract facilitate an effective transfer of skills and knowledge to the buyer to enable full use of services and deliverables and associated documents.
Technical skills
Have a minimum of 4 years of direct responsibility for one or more of the following: strategy formulation/translation business process management service design business transformation and business re-design change management program management. Demonstrated knowledge of existing and emerging technology capabilities and how they might apply practically to business solutions and designs.
