As the Infrastructure Capability Manager for Austal Defence Australia (ADA) youll be responsible for the delivery of the SSA shipbuilding infrastructure and facilities required to execute the Strategic Shipbuilding program. The Infrastructure Capability Manager provides support to the Head of Infrastructure and Facilities in the strategic planning for Shipbuilding Capability and oversees the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects to enable long term capability plan.

Support the delivery of SSA Infrastructure projects to ensure they are delivered on time within budget and at the required level of capability and ensure the dependencies and risks across programs are managed enabling seamless capability delivery
Support the development and implementation of a clearly defined infrastructure capability roadmap and align with long-term strategic objectives
Ensure emerging infrastructure and facility needs are identified and addressed
Maintain an integrated view of facility/infrastructure plans across the SSA Shipbuilding Enterprise
Investment decisions are informed by capability analysis and frameworks
Support and provide advice to stakeholders
Participate in Shipbuilding Asset Management Plans
Youll Need
Bachelors degree in engineering infrastructure planning facilities management project management or related discipline
Shipbuilding ore related project management in infrastructure project
Systems thinking
Asset management
10 years experience in a similar role with at least 4 years as a functional leader
Demonstrated ability to align infrastructure planning with strategic organisation objectives and long-term capability development
Proven experience in leading large-scale infrastructure program or portfolios preferably within shipbuilding or similar complex
Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
