Whatever your reason our Intern Program will help you build real experience grow your industry connections and if youre in your penultimate year start conversations about your graduate career.

• Whether your passion is in engineering science project management architecture or another consulting speciality well work with you to find your ideal first role.

• During your three months youll get exposure to a range of career pathways available at GHD - because no future should come with split ends!

• Youll have the chance to work in design teams to help deliver exciting projects contribute to bids and tenders as well as participating in our broader Intern challenge.

• Get meaningful feedback in your internship and well help iron out any kinks along the way

• Your CV: This gives us a snapshot of what youve studied and your experiences both paid and unpaid.

• Your transcript: This helps us understand what youve been learning from your core subjects to the electives that sparked your curiosity.

Your journey to joining GHD:

Heres what to expect step by step:

• Screening:We review applications as they come in but be mindful that the bulk of our screening happens after applications close so dont worry if you dont hear from us right away.

• Virtual Assessments:If you make it through the first stage youll record some answers to a few straightforward questions and complete some cognitive games. This helps us get a better sense of your work style and alignment to GHD

• Meet the team:If youre successful youll have a face-to-face interview (wherever possible) with your prospective team. Well chat through somebehavioural questionsto learn more about your skills and experience. Its also a chance for you to get to know us!

• Offer:Congratulations! Well talk through all the finer details like salary your start date our onboarding process and what to expect before your first day.

Our Summer interns generally commence in November and finish up mid-late February to coincide with our next Graduate intake. A number of our interns also continue working in the business on a casual basis after their formal internship period has wrapped up.
