Finance Manager (MSP)

As our Finance Manager you will be the lead person managing our finance payroll tax invoicing and accounts. Youre the type of person who wants to understand the why and how of your role (not just learning what to do).
Your role
In this role you will:
- Responsible for the end-to-end finance function reporting to the CEO.
- Preparing and processing payroll.
- Managing AR/AP and preparing bank payments and direct debits.
- Cashflow projection and planning.
- Responding to invoicing enquiries and manage some debt collection.
- Preparing P&L Balance Sheet Budgets and Board Reports.
- Preparing and lodging superannuation and taxation for all states (payroll tax PAYG BAS).
- Liaising with government departments and other agencies (ATO Workcover SRO Insurances).
Your background and skills
- Three plus years experience working in a finance/admin role in Australia.
- Youre a highly intelligent person who wants to understand their job.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to communicate with clients stakeholders and internal teams.
- Experience with Xero is essential.
- Experience working in an MSP or the IT sector and an understanding of Microsoft products is desirable.
- Confident computer skills including financial systems and Excel.
- A can-do attitude an ability to manage a number of complex tasks with a high level of attention to detail.

This is a full-time permanent role. This is a hybrid role with some flexibility to work from home.
