We are looking for a Facilities Scheduler to play a key role in planning and coordinating infrastructure and facilities works that support major Defence shipbuilding programs.
This role sits at the centre of operations ensuring maintenance upgrades and construction activities across the shipyard are effectively scheduled sequenced and delivered with minimal disruption to production.

Develop and maintain detailed schedules for facilities maintenance upgrades and infrastructure projects
Coordinate works across multiple stakeholders including production engineering contractors and site services
Align facilities activities with shipbuilding schedules to minimise impact on operations
Monitor progress track milestones and provide regular schedule updates and reporting
Identify scheduling risks conflicts and constraints and implement practical solutions
Support planning for shutdowns outages and critical works
Ensure schedules reflect resource availability access constraints and safety requirements
Youll Need
Experience in scheduling/planning within construction infrastructure shipbuilding or heavy industry
Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project or similar)
Strong understanding of project sequencing dependencies and critical path
Ability to manage multiple work fronts and competing priorities
Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
Experience in Defence or complex multi-disciplinary environments
Knowledge of facilities management or site infrastructure
Trade or engineering background
Familiarity with shutdown planning and execution
