Environmental Advisor

About the Opportunity:

As our Environmental Advisor you will be the go-to expert for all things environmental at Harvey Fresh. You will ensure our site meets licence and legal requirements with a strong focus on wastewater treatment operations. Reporting to the Health Safety & Environment Manager you will supervise two WWTP Operators and work closely with internal teams regulators and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
• Ensure compliance with DWER and licence conditions
• Identify system improvements and implement procedural changes
• Manage environmental reporting data analysis and regulatory submissions
• Support capital planning and budget adherence
• Champion sustainability initiatives and HSE culture

About you:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Environmental Science (or equivalent experience)
• 1 - 2 years experience in wastewater management (not essential but highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and environmental systems
• Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SAP and environmental reporting tools
