The Enterprise Architect provides senior hands-on architecture support across Austrades digital products platforms and enabling technologies. The role focuses on making sure technology decisions are practical well reasoned and aligned to business priorities enterprise direction and delivery timelines.
This role works closely with delivery teams solution architects vendors and senior business and technology stakeholders. It helps shape solution options identify crosssystem impacts early and guide design decisions so delivery teams can move forward with confidence.
The role supports a mix of major programs and business as usual initiatives including enterprise systems uplift cloud and infrastructure transitions and enhancements to core digital platforms. It also contributes to enterprise architecture governance by producing and maintaining clear architectural artefacts standards and patterns that support assurance and defensible decision making including alignment with cyber security requirements.
This position is intended to provide immediate additional capacity during a period of high delivery demand and time critical decision making.

Key duties and responsibilities
In this role the Enterprise Architect will:
Provide clear pragmatic architectural advice to support digital initiatives across products platforms data integration cloud and infrastructure.
Assess solution options and proposed designs identifying risks dependencies and crosssystem impacts and recommending practical ways forward.
Work closely with delivery teams and solution architects to ensure designs are fit for purpose and aligned with agreed enterprise direction.
Develop and maintain core architecture artefacts including current and target state views patterns and standards that support consistent decisionmaking.
Requirements
Criteria
Essential criteria
1.Seniorlevel Enterprise Architect with experience working in complex organisations.
2.Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear practical technical solutions that support delivery.
3.Experience working within APS procurement processes is a must including Digital Marketplace or similar procurement arrangements.
4.Ability to understand enterprise architecture concepts and assist in mapping Austrades business and technical capabilities.
5.Experience providing architectural advice across multiple domains such as applications integration data cloud and infrastructure.
6.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and recommendations clearly to business and senior stakeholders.
Desirable criteria
1.Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems or ERPrelated programs.
2.Experience in creating or contributing to technology and investment roadmaps.
3.Experience supporting architecture governance assurance activities or design reviews in a delivery environment.
