The RoleWe are seeking experienced Shift Supervisors / Duty Managers to join the opening team at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Sandgate. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supporting daily venue operations leading service teams and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
You will play a key role in motivating the team maintaining operational standards and creating a positive energetic atmosphere while supporting the successful launch of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
Support daily venue operations across front of house service areas
Assist with shift coordination team development and staffing support
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve customer concerns professionally
Maintain strong menu and product knowledge to support guests and team members
Ensure smooth service operations within a fast-paced full table service environment
Support training mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team
Collaborate with kitchen bar and management teams to maintain service standards
Assist in maintaining cleanliness presentation and operational compliance
Work efficiently within QR ordering and table service systems
Prioritise tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities during service periods
About You
Passionate about hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
Strong leadership and communication skills
Positive motivated and team-focused attitude
Confident working in fast-paced high-volume environments
Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
A hands-on leader who leads by example
Committed to maintaining high operational and service standards
Requirements
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
Strong experience in fast-paced full table service environments
Ability to work varied shifts including nights weekends and public holidays
Strong customer service and team leadership skills
Full Australian working rights
Highly Desirable
Experience in themed or entertainment-driven venues
First Aid / Training qualifications
