Reporting to the Head of Disability this position requires a dynamic individual with strong expertise in strategic planning policy and advocacy stakeholder engagement and business growth within the disability sector. The role will work closely with LAC senior leaders and lead the Community Development Specialists to drive strategic initiatives implement the Disability Growth Strategy support grant and tender positioning and writing respond to government inquiries and briefings and strengthen SSIs future growth and sector :Lead the development and implementation of business plans strategic program direction the Community Capacity Building Plan and the Disability Growth Strategy to advance the programs mission objectives and opportunities and make recommendations for business growth and innovation including supporting grant and tender positioning evidence selection and bid writing within the disability and manage stakeholder engagement plans building and maintaining strong relationships with NDIS participants families community organisations government agencies and other key with relevant SSI stakeholders to monitor policy developments implement advocacy initiatives and respond to government inquiries and briefings affecting the disability sector and SSI LAC and presentregular reports and briefings on strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement to the senior leadership future direction change planning and growth strategies for SSI in disability aligning to scheme knowledge around the NDIS business system and landscape to inform program approaches and reach out to us for the full Position Description to review the Key Responsibilities and Measures of CriteriaBachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration Public Policy Social Work) or equivalent experience in the Disability 5 years leadership in a Community/ Human Services EnvironmentHigh level written communication and analytical experience in writing developing and implementing strategic plans growth initiatives and tender or grant submissions in the disability interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships lead stakeholder engagement and liaise across all levels internally externally and with people from diverse exceptional leadership project management program management and event management developing and leading business planning to assess and manage risk problem solve and be able to negotiate successful outcomes under challenging to travel across all program areas as UsSettlement Services International (SSI Group) is a community-based organisation and social business that supports newcomers and Australians to achieve their full potential.
