Whats the role
This is your chance to shape the next chapter of growth for Westpacs Global Transaction Services business. As a Business Development Manager youll focus on opening doors to new institutional clients and turning opportunities into longterm partnerships that really matter.
Youll be part of the Client Engagement Extended Leadership team working alongside experienced relationship managers and product specialists to design smart practical transaction banking solutions. From first conversation to signed deal youll lead the full sales journey backed by marketleading payments and liquidity capabilities.
This is a fulltime role based in Melbourne offering the opportunity to lead strategic business development across Corporate Australia.
Youll balance autonomy with collaboration using disciplined pipeline management while staying curious about what clients need next. Most of all youll have the space to build relationships think strategically and see the impact of your work every day.
What do I need
- Proven experience in business development or sales within institutional or corporate banking
- Strong understanding of transaction banking and treasury solutions
- Confidence building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including c suite leaders
- Clear communication negotiation and presentation skills
- A collaborative and organised approach to managing pipelines and opportunities
