We have an exciting entry-level opportunity for a part-time Business Services Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role will be 25 hours per week with hours rostered across the week in alignment with team and business requirements.

Your duties

As a Business Services Assistant in our team you will be a versatile team member involved in a broad range of duties such as:

  • Printing photocopying scanning and finishing (e.g. binding laminating etc.)
  • Sorting delivery collection and distribution of mail couriers and other items
  • Purchase stocktake and maintenance of all stationery including mail and courier consumables
  • Administration tasks including processing supplier invoices
  • Assist in maintaining print devices and binding equipment and arranging contractor support
  • Support the Premises assistant with arranging contractors for repairs and maintenance and other duties
  • Help the Search and Lodgement team when required
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and practices to enhance the service offering
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure seamless Business Services operations
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

More About You

To be successful in this role strong organisational skills are important as well as a high level of initiative attention to detail energy and enthusiasm. No experience needed but must have a positive attitude and a desire to learn.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong customer service skills and focus
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite including in Word and Excel MS Teams & Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Solutions focussed and confident to use initiative to make decisions
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • An ability and willingness to undertake physical and mobile work
