The Role
This is not a role for someone who measures success by the number of calls made in a day. For most specialist practices adopting new practice management software is one of the most consequential decisions they will ever make touching every clinician every staff member and every patient interaction. The right person here measures success by the relationships they build and the genuine value they create.
You will lead discovery conversations to understand what matters most to eachprospect anddemonstrate howXestrosupports both their clinical and operational goals. You will alsorepresentXestroat a curatedselectionof medical conferences connecting with healthcare professionals in their own space.
You will be part of a small tight-knit team: a Sales and Growth Lead and two other BDMs. Knowledge and approach are shared not hoarded. You will start with a structured induction alongside our support team so that you know the platform in genuine depth before you ever sit in front of a prospect.
Day to day
In this role you will be:
- Responding tonew salesenquiries via HubSpot and phone with warmthcuriosityand genuine interest.
- Leading discovery sessions focused ontruly understandinga prospects world before ever opening a product demo.
- Delivering tailored product demonstrations that connectXestroscapabilities directly to each customers priorities.
- Attending strategically selected medical conferences torepresentXestroand engage with the healthcare community.
- Supporting prospects patiently through a considered decision-making process that may span several months.
- Managing your pipeline with discipline and care using HubSpot as your central source of truth.
- Collaborating closely with the team lead and fellow BDMs to share market insights approach and product knowledge.
Who Were Looking For
We care far more about how you engage with people than whether your CV lists a string of quota achievements. That said we do need someone who can convert. Not through pressure but through genuineexpertisetrustand the ability to connect what we do to what a customeractually needs.
You will bring:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role ideally in healthcare medicaltechnologyor a related field.
- A natural ability to ask the right questions and listen deeply before jumping to solutions.
- Confidence presenting anddemonstratingsoftware to business owners and clinical professionals.
- Comfort managing your own timepipelineand priorities with minimalhand-holding.
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus but not essential).
Background in healthcare:
A background in healthcare is important but it does not have to be software. Practice management pharmaceutical sales medical devices dental allied health or any role that has given you genuine exposure to how specialist practices and healthcare businessesoperatewill be well regarded. What matters is that you already understand the world our customers work in.
We are not looking for:
- Classic closer profiles or high-pressure sales technique.
- Someone who has not worked in or around healthcare.
- Someone whose first question is about commission structure.
You are patient methodical and authoritative: not because of persuasion technique but because you know the product and the environment inside out. You are comfortable with a sales cycle that spansmonths becauseyou understand the weight of the decision on the other side of the table.
