About the Role

CrewSELECT are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers for workshop and FIFO opportunities across WA. These roles involve fabrication maintenance repairs and shutdown/project work within mining industrial and fixed plant environments.

We are looking for reliable tradespeople with strong fabrication and welding experience who can work safely produce quality workmanship and contribute positively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel and heavy components
• Maintenance and repairs on fixed plant and mining equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• MIG TIG Flux Core and Stick welding as required
• Workshop fabrication and onsite installation work
• Shutdown project and maintenance works across various sites
• Ensuring all work is completed to site safety and quality standards
• Use of hand and power tools cranes and lifting equipment

Skills & Experience

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker
• Previous workshop and/or FIFO mining experience
• Experience with structural steel plate work and fixed plant maintenance
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Tickets & Licences

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Non ticketed Boilermakers also considered
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights (desirable)
• Confined Space (desirable)
• EWP / Forklift / Dogging tickets advantageous
• Current Drivers Licence
