Associate Senior Associate Restructuring

Our Restructuring & Insolvency practice group is recognised asone of the leading Restructuring & Insolvency teams in to the size and nature of the practice you will have theopportunity to work across a varied range of matters includingcross-border matters with support from a strong leadership team(who are qualified in multiple jurisdictions).Clients includethe major Australian and foreign banks top tier corporatesinvestment banks fund managers and professional trustees.

We are currently looking to recruit an Associate and SeniorAssociate to join us based in Melbourne. To be successful in thisrole you will need to have solid experience practising acrosslarge-scale commercial insolvency and / or restructuring matterswith the ability to take carriage of appropriate matters workingas part of an inclusive and collaborative team. Responsibilities

• Work across a diverse range of restructuring and insolvency matters including cross-border matters
• Draft advices prepare court documents and attend hearings
• Work with a diverse and high profile client base
• Assist with negotiations
• Active involvement in business development and marketing initiatives
• Contribute to our firm values and culture through participation in CSR pro-bono and social activities
• Mentor and train junior lawyers within the team

Requirements

• 3 years PQE within a reputable Restructuring & Insolvency or Commercial Litigation practice
• Commercial approach and experience dealing with complex transactions
• Exceptional client liaison skills
• Excellent analytical technical and drafting skills
