Network Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Network Engineer to support maintain and enhance enterprise network infrastructure in a complex multi-site environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Cisco networking expertise who enjoy troubleshooting network design security and infrastructure optimization.

You will work on critical networking initiatives support capacity growth implement new technologies and help ensure a secure reliable and scalable network environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage LAN WAN Wireless Data Center and network interconnection technologies.
• Configure and support routing protocols including BGP OSPF and EIGRP.
• Administer firewalls VPNs (IPsec) wireless networks and QoS solutions.
• Participate in network upgrades integrations and capacity expansion projects.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network issues.
• Develop technical documentation implementation plans and testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security standards best practices and change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive network improvements and operational excellence.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of experience managing enterprise network environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• 5 years of experience configuring and troubleshooting:
  • BGP OSPF and EIGRP
  • Cisco ASA and/or Palo Alto firewalls
  • IPsec VPNs
  • Wireless networking
  • Quality of Service (QoS)
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco ISE 802.1X TrustSec and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Experience with monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds NPM/NCM LiveAction and Cisco Prime.
• Exposure to Software Defined Networking technologies including Cisco SD-Access Cisco ACI and SD-WAN solutions.

• Full-time position
• Working hours aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST)
• Participation in an on-call support rotation required
