Veritas Prep Charter School (VPCS) was founded in Springfield in 2012 with the mission to prepare students in grades 5-8 to compete, achieve, and succeed in high school, college, and beyond. VPCS serves over 400 Springfield students each school year as one of Massachusetts’ top-performing middle schools. Building on the success of our middle school, we opened our high school in the Fall of 2022 and updated our mission to prepare stutdents in grades 5-12 to compete, achieve, and succeed in college and beyond. VPCS has earned an Early College designation from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and we currently partner with Sprinfield Technical Community College and Worcester State University to offer college credits to over 350 high school students each school year. We envision an education landscape that is equiable, where every student in Springfield, Massachusetts, is equipped to obtain a college degreee and make informed chices after high school. We value students first and make decisions with our students in mind and know our actions model the way. Our Team grows together by modeling the way with a growth mindset, teamwork, and collaboration. We cheer for, lean on, and support each other as we play unique roles in support of our mission. VPCS provides a college prep curriculum in a safe, positive, and rigorous learning environment that allows students to thrive both academically and socially.
