Junior QA Consultant Tunis

Axe Finance developed Axe Credit Portal (ACP) a future-proof AI-driven solution to automate the entire credit lifecycle from KYC to servicing including origination credit scoring and automatic decision-making. ACP is a multi-segment digital lending solution covering not only Retail Commercial Corporate FIs and Sovereign segments but also other specific types of lending such as embedded financing and Islamic finance.

We are actively seeking a dedicated and proactive Junior QA Consultant to join our team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless software deployment and knowledge management contributing significantly to the companys operational efficiency and success

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manual Testing

• Analyze functional specifications user stories business requirements and customer requirements to identify test conditions and define appropriate test coverage.
• Design review maintain and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Prepare and execute functional regression and end-to-end test campaigns.
• Validate software features across different environments and configurations.
• Identify document track and follow up defects using QA and project management tools.
• Perform defect verification and regression testing following fixes and new deployments.
• Contribute to release validation and provide clear and accurate test results and QA feedback.
• Maintain test data and ensure test execution is properly documented and traceable.
• Collaborate with developers business analysts project teams and other QA engineers to investigate and resolve issues.

Test Automation

• Develop maintain and execute automated functional and regression tests under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• Convert suitable manual test cases into automated test scripts based on defined automation priorities.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the existing automation framework test scripts and reusable components.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify failures and potential defects.
• Investigate automation failures and distinguish between application defects test-script issues and environment-related issues.
• Contribute to the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and automated test campaigns.
• Apply automation best practices to improve test coverage reliability reusability and execution efficiency.

QA Process & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to improving QA processes testing standards methodologies and best practices.
• Participate in test planning estimation risk identification and QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Suggest improvements to existing QA tools automation solutions and testing approaches.
• Contribute to the development and adoption of reusable QA assets frameworks and test utilities.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and documentation of QA practices test approaches and automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with defined QA processes standards and quality objectives.
• Stay informed about new testing tools technologies and industry best practices.

CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• 02 years of experience in software testing quality assurance or test automation. A first experience or internship in QA is a plus.
• Good understanding of software testing fundamentals and QA methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Ability to design clear structured and effective test cases based on functional and business requirements.
• Basic knowledge of test automation concepts and willingness to develop automation skills.
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge in one or more languages such as Java JavaScript Python or C# is an advantage.
• Knowledge or exposure to automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium Katalon Playwright or equivalent is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman Swagger or equivalent is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SQL/database concepts and the ability to perform simple data validation queries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other test/defect management tools is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate issues identify root causes and clearly communicate findings.
• Client-focused mindset and awareness of user experience and business requirements.
• Strong organizational multitasking and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and international environment.
• Proactive curious and willing to continuously learn and improve.
• Good level of English both written and spoken is required. French proficiency is a plus.
